COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY
Cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on changing the automatic negative thoughts that can contribute to and worsen emotional difficulties, depression, and anxiety. These spontaneous negative thoughts have a detrimental influence on mood.
DIALETICAL BEHAVIOR THERAPY
DBT focuses on helping a person learn to recognize, change, and control their own emotional states. DBT teaches a set of skills including Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEM THERAPY
This psychotherapy model is an approach to that identifies and addresses multiple sub-personalities or families within each person’s mental system. These sub-personalities consist of wounded parts and painful emotions such as anger and shame, and parts that try to control and protect the person from the pain of the wounded parts.
Therapy should address the entire being – mind, body, and spirit– there is much more support for spiritual integration in health care. At Revive Counseling and Wellness, we value this integrative approach to helping the whole person along with their journey to wellness.

Emotionally Focused Therapy is a research based therapy that is scientifically shown to have long term success for couples. We now better understand that couples in distress are not suffering from a lack of ability to communicate but, rather, a lack of connection.
